A scuba diver needs five (5) primary of scuba diving gear. This are very essential just to begin your training. Every other piece of scuba equipment can be rented or it can be bought in some top selling diving stores. These are the following:

• Scuba mask- A scuba mask gives you a clear view of the bottom of the water. Because of this, you can stare at the coral reefs, fish and sea mammals in the oceans and seas, and you can also explore the clean sands of the sea. You should have a high quality scuba mask to keep your sight in proper perspective at all times.

If you are diving in a cold water, scuba diving boots will keep your feet warm, it will also keep your heel away from the burning heat of the sunlight when you get on the boat.

• Swim fins: the formation and development of swim fins is already considered a science. Swim fins creates a balance water flow and it gives the diver the ability to change directions fluidly. With this kind of gear scuba diving, divers will only need exert a little effort and amount of energy in swimming and to mimic the motion of the fishes.

Not all swim fins are made of the same materials. The best materials for swim fins are silicon, because it can withstand the heat of the sun and the worst effect of salt and sand.

• Scuba weights and belts for scuba diving: this gear helps the diver to counteract the positive buoyancy of a diver's body. Weights and belts are very important in scuba diving because it is the compensator. You must choose the ideal weight system that work best for you and your body weight.
