Work as advertised. Snug fitting gloves give added resistance and after a few laps you can feel the difference in shoulders and arms. Quality seems good. No sign of wear even after 'spinning' them in health club machine to dry them.
- Get the XL if you have really big hands and long fingers.
Of course it emphasizes the arms and shoulders. I have very large hands (6'4") and based on the reviews I went with the large. The fit is fine for my hands which are skinny but the fingers cut into the web of my hands so I wished I'd bought the XL. It's not a problem once I start swimming though. My arms get more of a workout but they're not sore and it's not as dramatic a difference as some say. However, ANYTHING that makes swimming more interesting is worth twice the price.

My thumbs are a little short, its a little hard to get the second glove on. But after that works great.

Bought this product to enhance my swim workouts and I love it! The reviews are correct. Get one size smaller than you normally get for gloves. I'm typically a Large but Medium worked great for me. Thanks Speedo.
